If you are currently not a member of VATSIM then click on the following link to join. http://cert.vatsim.net/vatsimnet/signup.html. Ensure that you read all of the following pages carefully. Under the preferred region field select the North America region. Once you receive your ID and password via email, continue to step two.
Your journey to become a Toronto Controller is almost started. You will need to first join VATCAN, click the following link to join. http://www.vatcan.org/register/registeratc.php. It's very important that you enroll in the National Training Unit (NTU).
Read and study all the documents available to pass the NTU. All the information about the NTU is available on the VATCAN website and from your assigned instructor. Remember that he's there to teach you and to be your friend, ask question!
Upon graduating from the NTU you will be given an S2 student controller rating and be able to transfer to our FIR to begin your exciting carrier as a Toronto Controller. Your transfer to the Toronto FIR will be done by your instructor and on your request. Within 72 hours of joining Toronto FIR you should receive an email detailing who your Toronto instructor is and how to continue training as a Toronto Controller.
